Business Gateway Services

Business Gateway can provide the help and support that people who want to start up in business need to get things moving. The Business Gateway website has a wealth of information on offer and this along with local programmes of workshops and events makes sure businesses in Scotland are getting the support they need to make a success of their venture.

We are involved in over 1200 business start-ups each year across the six local authority areas in Renfrewshire and Dunbartonshire. These areas are Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, Helensburgh in Argyll & Bute and East and West Dunbartonshire.

In terms of what we do to carry out Business Gateway services, as mentioned above we run a comprehensive programme of workshops and events which our advisers run. These cover subjects from finance to e-business and marketing to tax. We also have one to one sessions where clients can meet with one of our advisers to discuss their business ideas and to develop them further.

Other than helping start up's, we also assist over 70 companies a year that have a high growth projection. The service we offer growth companies is a lot more hands on, with one of our specialist growth advisers being assigned and acting as a guide to the client.
